Clear and Regular Braces
The field of Orthodontics has many new innovations and sometimes people are confused about the different options.
Dr. Solomon will suggest one or more treatment options that meet your needs and discuss the options. Below are a few words about the different options available today.
- Traditional braces. These are composed of two basic parts: the brackets and the wire which hold these brackets in place. These types of braces are either entirely made up of metal alloys such as stainless steel, or a mixture of metal and ceramic materials.
- Clear braces. Composed of ceramic brackets and wire, like traditional materials, but using completely translucent material these types of braces are very close to being invisible.
- Invisible braces. Invisible braces are designed to be completely invisible. They can bring about a positive change within a few weeks, after which they are replaced with a different tray. This tray is very comfortable and effective. It is custom-made especially for you according to the shape of your teeth.
